I need to eat less
healthier
(Buy healthy groceries, healthy snacks)

I need to spend less
thriftier
(transfer most money into savings for dificult access. That'll inspire me to spend wisely!)

I need to catch up in school
(schedule days, organize. write it down!)

I need to keep my place clean
(Have big massive cleaning day, organize cleaning schedule. Wash dishes immediately. Wash tub/toilet weekly. Put laundry in drawers. But don't make the bed! That's just silly.)

Ween myself off internet!

Keep a journal/sketchbook (bind it!)
Make a DAILY schedule with time for homework, reading, writing, cleaning.

Wake up early. 7am. Sleep early. 10pm except in cases of work.

There is a girl you know with tall green eyes who likes to be alone. When you see her on the street, she pretends you aren't there, or sometimes, if she's in the mood, she'll smile as she walks past and away. If you follow her, two steps behind, you'll see her trip at the corner. She laughs at herself in case somebody is watching, but no one is, except you. She apologizes when she sees beautiful paintings, hears beautiful music. She apologizes as she runs her fingertips over glossy spines in the fiction section at the library. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry I didn't make you." She runs her fingers along the racks in the clothing stores, but she hasn't got any money in her pockets, except to buy fruits and soy sauce at the grocery store. You have her number, but if you telephone her at home she'll always tell you, "I can't tonight." What she means is "Someone, someone, please save me." She knows you won't.

painting titles:

your mother with crooked teeth
to watch me unravel
mango skeleton
the conversations that can be had by open water
tiny brown packages
something to do with my hands
some lines
i'll only want more and i'll only want more
a lonely man coughing in the parking lot
an afternoon spent on the couch
no more patterns in points of light
the back of my mind

at my next art show, amongst a serious of "serious paintings" i should have just one blank canvass called "art is an inside joke" sold at cost.
